Why can I only have 3 pints in your taproom?
Good question. Pursuant to Montana State Law, a small brewery taproom can only serve 48 oz of beer per person per day between the hours of 10am and 8pm.
Who’s the genius that came up with putting your beer in a can?
That would be our founding member, Tim. Tim’s our big idea man… as in, “What’s the big idea, MAN!”
What is your Community UNite program?
Thanks for asking! Every Wednesday night, we feature a different community group. Between the hours of 5-8pm, KettleHouse Brewing donates 50 cents from every pint sold back to this community group. We began this program at our Myrtle St location years ago, and they were so popular that we had to turn patrons away! The program was discontinued for a time because of our space constraints. The program is now back in action at our N 1st St location. Even if you’re visiting our taproom just to have a beer on a Wednesday, you are helping give back to the Missoula community!
What is the history of each of your locations?
Our Myrtle St location opened in 1995 as a Brew on Premise (more information on Brew on Premise). Over the years, this location morphed into a full fledged brewery and taproom. As the demand for our canned beer increased, we quickly realized we needed a larger production facility. We began remodeling the Northside location in the spring of 2008. We started brewing at the new location in the spring of 2009 and opened the taproom in July 2009.
Where can I find your beers on tap?
We are gaining popularity in a lot of bars & restaurants in Missoula, Whitefish, Kalispell, Bozeman, Helena and Butte. And don’t forget Virginia City! We’ll post updates about our marketing efforts in our Brew News area.
Do you give tours?
Not currently. Stay Tuned.
Can you ship me some beer?
No. Sorry. Plan a vacation in beautiful Missoula instead.
